Now on to the amazing decadent treat:

Dark Chocolate Chia Mousse

Makes 2 servings

 Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp of arrowroot powder
  • 1 tbsp of unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
  • ¼ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 10 drops of liquid stevia
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp of almond extract
  • ¼ cup of dark chocolate pieces
  • 2 tbsp of chia seeds

Directions

  • Combine arrowroot and 1 tbsp of almond milk in a small separate bowl
  • Stir until clumps are eliminated
  • In a small saucepan combine 1 cup of almond milk, cocoa powder, and extracts
  • Set on medium heat until it simmers
  • Slowly whisk in dark chocolate pieces and chia seeds and reduce heat to low
  • Once chocolate melts whisk in the arrowroot mixture and stir until you get a pudding consistency
  • Serve chilled

  • Coconut Flakes and Strawberries (as pictures)
  • Dark Chocolate pieces
  • Sliced Almonds
  • Dried berries or fresh berries
